God is Good!

I got the job! I start in the next 1-2 weeks. I've been at my current job for over 11 years, so it's quite scary, but I think the change is desperately needed. I like to stay in my comfort zone & it becomes too easy to stay put. I am praying this works out. I will be working from home and making more money. It's definitely a God thing & I am so happy. I am behind on posting & still want to talk about Yellowstone. Hopefully I will have time this weekend! I just had to share my good news to the world (or the one or 2 people who actually read my blog...) :)

Back to Work

I will post soon on my trip to Yellowstone. It was such a wonderful vacation & I want to spend time reflecting on it before I write. I went back to work yesterday to a very bitter day. They have over-hired & told me I had to move to the other side of the office building by myself so a new person can have my desk. I just feel like it's one step closer to the door for me. They really treat new employees so much better than those who have been there for so long. My supervisor didn't see any of my clients, so I am returning to a caseload that needs a lot of attention. I think I would like to just stay at home with the kiddies & enjoy being a mom. I found out that the other job is going to put an offer in writing to me today (or so they say...). One glitch now is that they are asking me to work out of an office instead of from home. I don't know that this is what I want, so I'll wait & see what the offer is. Please pray it's good. I need a change. I'm putting in some pictures of the kiddies that I recently took while on vacation. Sorry for the negative blog, but I'm really down in the dumps right now & am trying to make a positive change soon. Yikes! :)

Okay Sarah, here are more pictures. I will be going to Wyoming tomorrow for an entire week. I'm looking forward to the vacation, but the travel will be tiring. It will take us 2 1/2 days to get there. Ronnie & Gracie will be fine. I'm worried about me. :) I hate being in a car for that long. Ron's parents & sister Michelle will be coming also. We will be visiting Yellow Stone. I have never been west, so I'm excited to see the scenery. I haven't heard about my job yet, but I'm still praying & hoping it comes through. Gracie is visiting Grammy tonight & Ronnie is at his very first sleepover with a non-relative. Ron is at the Colt's game, so I'm enjoying some time to myself. Enjoy the pictures!

Ronnie had so much fun with LeeAnn at Chuck E Cheese. They were trying to find the "real" Chuck E. It was hilarious. Gracie slept through the entire thing. :) Thanks to Sarah for the pictures since I didn't bring my camera...

Gracie started smiling yesterday! It is so sweet to see how she's changing every day. She's in her swing right now & is starting to be less fussy. I guess I will have to stop calling her fussy girl. I'm greatful that she's getting a little bigger & outgrowing the stage that frustrates me most. I have more pics to share of Ronnie, Gracie, & cousin Neva. Neva is one week younger than Gracie. They will have a fun time playing together!





I have been dieting for almost a week now. It's hard, but Ron & I are doing great & sticking to it! I have been walking on the treadmill almost every day. It feels great to do things to improve our health & I'm glad he & I are doing this together. We want to be healthy for our kids.





I had a job interview last Thursday, & it was wonderful. There is a very good possibility that I will get the job & I will be able to work from home. I am so hopeful & feel that God had a hand in this. I wasn't even job searching & it kind of fell into my lap. It's been so nice being home for the last 2 months. I'll update when I know more about the job. Enjoy the pictures.
